Pairc:
The area of Pairc is one of the most scenic on the Island; it offers trout and salmon fishing along with possibilities for hill walkers, bird watching and cycling.  For further information on the area see www.ravenspointfisheries.co.uk.  For many visitors it is an ideal opportunity to relax and get away from it all while enjoying the beautiful landscape.

Rest of the Island:
Lewis and Harris are renowned for their magnificent beaches.  Made more spectacular by the fact that they are usually deserted, this makes them an ideal setting for a relaxing walk and picnic or maybe something a bit more strenuous for those willing to brave the Atlantic!  Surfing and sailing are fast becoming prominent pastimes, so why not be adventurous and try something new.

The bustling little town of Stornoway provides all the amenities and entertainment needed.  Whether it is to explore the fabulous Castle Grounds, buy some genuine Harris Tweed, or eat, drink and dance there is something for everyone.
Several festivals run throughout the year, the successful Hebridean Celtic Festival takes place the second weekend in July, the Lewis Carnival is the first week of August and the Festival of the Sea runs throughout July.  More information on these events can be found via the links page.

Other attractions on the island include the Callanish Standing Stones, the Clach an Truiseil Monolith, the Thirteenth Century Teampull Mholuaidh church, the Butt of Lewis cliffs and lighthouse and the Broch at Dun Carloway.   Information on any of these attractions can be found at the Visit Scotland website, or I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
